Best cities for international students in Germany

“Tuition-free” and “world-class” education in university marketing brochures might sound like buzzwords. But if you were to seek higher education in Germany, that’s what you would enjoy.

There are over 400 higher education institutions in the country; you can pay little or no tuition fees depending on the university in which you enroll, resulting in tremendous savings for students.

The country is also home to some of the best universities in the world, aside from affordable schooling.

This includes the Technical University of Munich, Germany’s top university, ranked 25th in the 2020 Times Higher Education World University Rankings; RWTH Aachen University and Technical University of Berlin are Germany’s second and third best universities, respectively.
